I'm excited to finally showcase some of Forte Yoga's poses here in my blog! At the beginning of the year I finished a project I'd been working on for months on and off. I was so excited to have reached the finish line. It was allot of work and taught me allot about what I love and what I don't love about commissioned work. I realized I need more fluidity in the expression of the art, the comic book, super fine lines were tedious an tiresome to have to draw. I sometimes repeated the same line fifty times before I liked how it looked! Very time consuming, but again I learned allot, and actually learned how to shift my mindset in challenging times as well as the importance of self care and living each day as though it is a microcosm of your life. Forte Yoga is finally up and running and I thought I would post a few poses here in my blog. You can also find these same images in my gallery. Also to see the rest of the 150 plus poses go to forteyoga.com check it out! :)
A word of wisdom, never give up on a worthy goal, and always keep your word. If you say you're going to do something just be sure you can keep your integrity. I didn't realize what I was signing up for with this so I'm super appreciative of the patience the client had with me. There was a deadline but he was quite flexible for a long while. I almost gave up on this a few times because our agreement was not crystal clear, another thing you want to make sure you do is clearly define what conditions define "complete" and how many edits and hours you are willing to put in to satisfy your client. We did not define this clearly and as a result I reworked these more times than I'd care to redo anything. Lesson - learned.
All things creative.
