In order for the full significance of what someone has become to really sink in, people must see what that someone has evolved from.
It is easy to assume that a celebrity is just a celebrity because they were born that way. That there are a special select few of us who were made for success and to rise above the mundane. But this is both sabotaging ourselves as well as painting a false picture of reality. Do you want the truth? Can you handle the truth?! Well I am convinced that though on some level we decided long ago to experience mediocrity it is none the less a decision, and if we uphold it to this day we are still creating it real time. EVERYONE has the ability to rise above! It takes a decision that
"What I have been is no longer what I choose to limit myself to, I know I am capable of much more, I know I AM much more!"
Then we must hold the frequency of seeking to embody our full potential. This will take us on a journey that will test us in many ways. We will be given opportunities to step it up and be courageous. If we hold our ground we will be given greater energy from our soul essence and more power and confidence. Each time we meet a challenge head on we are given more energy, more life force, more radiant light from within. The things that once challenged us begin to feel simple and easy and we realize we ultimately were always beyond it, we just hadn't proved it to ourselves, thus our limiting definitions had power to convince us that we were less than what we truly are. We buy into these ideas and they seem powerful, but they are really leaches that loose their power once we prove to ourselves that we ARE ABLE!
We are limited only by our minds ability to convince us that we are limited. Resolve for better, disprove limiting ideas of yourself, and your beliefs will naturally adapt. Simple as a child believing they cannot draw, picking up a crayon and drawing and forever releasing the notion that they cant. Along the way we must embrace failure. Falling is natural and can even be enjoyable. Did you make pancakes perfectly the first time you tried? Or eggs? Or rice? Probably not. So it is that courage does not guarantee immediate success. It simply says
"Though you intimidate me (obstacle) I will NOT back down from my potential, EVER!"
THAT, is Courage!
A Brief Personal History
So that was a very long segway into a reiteration of my first statement, only applied to me personally. Who am (was) I and what am I becoming. Is it clear through this book the leaps and bounds I am making? Maybe. As I describe my emotions along the way it may tune people in. But a really brief description of myself and my life would make it much clearer I think.
I was a very open child, very happy and friendly. I was courageous and defended my family when a stranger or friend attacked. At around the age of 12 and through puberty I began to shut down. My sensitivity began to climb and I closed the world off. It was just me in my room 99% of the time for many years. I secluded myself and resented the world. It is only recently I began to really open back up. I had to understand my emotions and learn how to manage my energy and understand the inner conflicts that generated chronic negativity. Now I am returning to my "old" self as well and discovering more potential regularly. We must return to the innocence we had as children and have the eyes of their heart once again, but also we must embody so much more life force than we did as children, which means we must step up our game and be ALL that we can be!
At the beginning of this book I had already done allot of work on myself, but I was stagnating in the area of courage, which to me is the key point of change. In fact it was awareness for me and then courage. I became aware that I was clinging to what I had known so tightly and was afraid to let it go. So I had first to re-establish a trust in Spirit through synchronicity (Phase One) and now I am learning to trust myself and step into the void (Phase Two). It is a continuous process. I have lived at home with my parents all my life and very soon that is likely to change. I do not know how, but it is going to be the biggest thing for me. Meanwhile I am not letting that be the end all be all, it is an intention yes, but the real focus is FULL ENBODIMENT. Which is where I see all the ways I have convinced myself I am less than I am, and then disproving it. Unveiling and Transforming.
Some of my intentions are to nurture that inner child (the conceptual left) and others are to embody more of my potential (the conceptual right). They are both a form of self love as to nurture ourselves is self love and to have courage to grow is also self love. It is embracing fully what we embody RIGHT NOW as well as respecting the fact that there is more we can be/do here on earth and actively and enthusiastically persuing that beautiful potential that is ever present and that ultimately goes far beyond words.
All things creative.
