So I was contemplating with my feet up on the wall an idea. Reality and the symbols that can be used to clearly convey the process that a conscious, contemplating, inquiring mind goes through. It's a process of connecting the dots so lets look at it with a few common symbols. First symbol will be the colon(:) which in the English grammar is used to denote many possibilities, a list so to speak which in this analogy of the mind will represent someone who has not begun to inquire, the dots are still separate and the individual has not found anything upon which to fixate their interest. Then something is selected, a reality peaks their interest and they simply do not understand the reality yet, but they have begun to enter into inquiry. The colon (:) becomes a question mark (?) which is the top dot forming a relationship to the second. It spirals out searching for it's match which will create understanding. It knows not where it is, but in its open inquiry magnetically is drawn to understanding. Then eventually our question mark (?) becomes a realization, Erika! The connection is made and now we have an exclamation mark (!). As we settle into the new reality it becomes less and less a big deal and becomes "The Norm" and so the two dots are now completely unified into a period. (.)
All of this is only truly happening, genuine in nature, if the individuals mind is open and not operating from assumption. So we can't always know if all assumptions have been dropped, but we CAN know if we are truly inquiring. It is the willingness to drop assumptions and discover the unknown that is needed. We are coming not from a desire for our beliefs to be confirmed but from a desire to know what truly is, and that may contradict everything we've come to believe. This is the difference between a seeker and a believer.
Belief is a tricky thing. It is used to generate perceptions which can help us condition our experience in a way that feels better, which is fine, but it is a closed loop in a way because it has established what is and will not budge. Everything it sees and will accept as truth will then be conditioned on whether or not it matches the preconceived idea of what is. It is not in discovery mode, it is in self defining mode. I see nothing wrong with this except it is going to create a reality loop where things just keep repeating the way they always have for the individual. When we realize we are functioning in a limited reality which can be symbolically seen as an (O) we will have a choice: continue in this reality or begin to inquire more. This is a sort of self science. Meaning we are not consciously buying into any stories anymore, we chose to know! We chose to connect dots and experience first hand the truth of realities. As Ramtha once said we are here to make known the unknown, so there must be an openness and all things that we find our attention fixated on that we want the truth of must be a question, it must be inquiry.
All things creative.
