You know I think I understand a little better what Abraham Hicks was talking about when they say we know better what we want by experiencing what we don't want. If we have anything at all in our lives we could complain about we have everything we need to realize what we want as it's opposite. Maybe doesn't always apply, I don't know, but I do know that as an artist I've approached art in many ways and the more I recognize what bothers me the more clarity I have about what I love about it. And so in this case I recognized that to a great degree art has essentially from the start for me, though I lost it many times, all about appreciation. Just creating what I appreciate, what I love to see at any given moment. If I can't create from appreciation I am not in my personal "zone" if you will.
All things creative.
